why do people leave this field?

I’m a senior at Brennan high school in San Antonio that’s looking for insight on forensic psychology. I wanna be able to work closely with crime and really figure out how someone’s mind works.

Nicholas’s Answer

A lot of people leave my industry because offers from other companies fall in their lap, or they can't handle the hours that come with the work. However, this is something that I've always said I don't mind. This industry isn't for everybody, but it can be so rewarding as long as you stick with it. This industry rewards hard work, but it takes hard work to move up. If you have any interest in the financial arena, you must be committed and you shouldn't have any problem with how you do! Hope this advice helps

Hi Casey. I met people in the field of Forensic Psychology and they don't that well. I recommend you do a master in mental health or clinical psychology and that way you have a broader area to work. With that you can work with any population and some colleges offer one class of forensic psychology instead of doing a whole master program in that and then being limited to just one area. It's not an easy field at all and many people ended up leaving.
