If you mean tying rebar, it's hard work but it's the type of job where there is a lot of demand for someone who is willing to work.

If you are referring to a career in Welding, it pays well.

Also, look into underwater welding... I heard that it pays very well

Research (go to Google and ask) "how much do welders make" and then ask "how much do underwater welders make"...
Make sure you pick a career that is interesting to you or pays you enough to sustain whatever lifestyle you want for yourself...
