Blake’s Answer

Hey Noah,

I believe that many of the career websites offer internships as well as full time job openings. I would also recommend going to several film companies websites and see if they offer an internship.

Thanks,
Blake

Rahul’s Answer

Hey Noah,

Being a recent graduate, I myself used a couple of portals to apply for internships and full-time jobs. I know LinkedIn is a great source to look for jobs in any kind of industry. Another good thing about LinkedIn is you can add alerts so that you can get a notification if any new job opens up.

Indeed is another such portal that has a lot of job postings. If you are looking for small or mid-size companies, AngelList is a great source to look for.

I found this another link on which you could find internships - https://www.internships.com/film

Lastly, I would like to say, if you know any particular production house for which you would like to work for, you should definitely look on their careers page. That should be the best source for it.

Rahul recommends the following next steps:

Bookmark LinkedIn, Indeed and AngelList and add specific filters which are suitable fo your interest. For example - you can add a filter for internship and then another filter for any specific city or country you want to target.

Lauren’s Answer

Hi Noah!

I would definitely look into larger companies that have videography teams that make their promotional videos and content. Wedding videographers are always looking for help! You could even reach out to smaller film companies that do these promotional videos for smaller corporations that don't have the budget or bandwidth for their own team.

Hope this helps.
