Once I get a Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience, what can I do with that degree straight out of undergraduate?

I'm going to major in Neuroscience, and I'm striving to be an Anesthesiologist in the long run; but that's a lot of schooling. I would like to know how to use my degree right off the bat to start earning income, and to gain work experience. #doctor #neuroscience #neurology #anesthesiologist #anesthesiology

You can do a lot of things, the important things is what is available to you at the time.
Teaching, assisting in research, pharma rep, are some options.
They can be a transition or a long term choice.

Great question. As you know, becoming an anesthesiologist does require attending medical school and doing residency thereafter, but I am sure the career path after the investment in education is well worth it. If you would like to obtain work experience before enrolling in med school, one option is to become a research technician in an anesthesiology laboratory at a university or biotech/pharmaceutical company. This will provide you will more experience in the field that will help you support yourself and strengthen your med school application simultaneously. Good luck!
