If you’re still in school, focus on subjects like English (very important for law), Business Studies, Economics, and even History. Law is a lot of reading and writing, so being comfortable with that helps a lot.
For your BCom, you can go with something like:
BCom in Law
BCom in Economics
BCom in Accounting
BCom in Business Management
There’s no strict rule that says your BCom must be in Law to do an LLB later. But if you take BCom Law, it does make the transition easier because you’ll already understand legal basics. If you take Accounting or Economics, that’s also great especially if you’re thinking of going into corporate law, tax law, or commercial law later.
At the end of the day, your BCom is like your foundation, and the LLB is your professional qualification. So choose something that matches the kind of lawyer you think you might want to be.
You can also check how different universities structure their BCom and LLB pathways even places like Regenesys Business School have business-focused degrees that can lead into law if you plan it properly.

After completing your BA LLB, you'd become a lawyer but in case things go south, BA will give you more career options to look at.

If you are looking to pursue a degree in Law post your graduation then you need to enroll for a 3 year programme. Many universities offer this programme.
Hope this helps.

you are eligible to pursue LLB course after the completion of your 12th standard/PUC. To join in LLB course, you should appear for CLAT(Common Law Admission Test ). If you can qualify CLAT exam, then you are eligible to get admission in LLB Undergraduate courses like BA LLB, B.Sc LLB, B Com LLB, BBA LLB, etc. These are five year integrated LAW courses, which you can do after the completion of your Pre-university.
