Hi, Kara. Your CV is vague so I'm not sure where you are in your schooling. Also, it's important to note if you are looking for part time or full time hours and any prior work experience. Once I have this information, I can better direct you.

My best,
Laura

Depends on what skills you have. Go to any hospital you are interested in working at and view their job listings.
This will give you an idea of what is available and what is needed to apply.
Good luck..

Yes of course! Hospitals employ all levels of staff and all provide a valuable service to patients and their families. I do not know how old you are or if you are in school so I will assume you are in high school and looking for something part time? Google your local hospitals so you know who they are and where they are located. from there you can look at their career section to see what they are looking for, depending on how user friendly their site is, it may be very easy to sort the positions. You could also go to the Human Resources Department at the hospital and talk to someone there about what positions are available. Lastly you can go to or call the hospital Volunteer Services Department, they always need people to volunteer if you do not need to earn money, you can use these hours toward your high school requirement if my assumptions are correct. Good luck - K

Kathleen’s Answer

Some of the positions would include the Nutrition Department (food service) where you would make up trays for the patients (following their diet cards) and possibly deliver the trays to patient rooms. The transport depart to help assist patients by wheelchair or stretcher to different tests or procedures. If you really want "hands on" you could be a nurse assistant and help the nurse bath and toilet patients. Sometimes a 6 week course is required for this. Good Luck,
