[closed] Do managers undergo training through events outside of the direct location where they work at?

Hello,

I am a college business senior, and my degree is with administration. My major is for management. I do not have any experience in management, so do positions have training included with them? If so, is the training an in-house program, or can it be outside of the company?

Thank you,

Many companies which hire entry level management employees will indeed have formal and informal training programs and opportunities both on and off site. These are issues you'll want to explore during the interview process to insure that they are available and you would have access to them. Convincing someone that you are qualified for a position, getting hired to do it and not having appropriate delivery skills rarely works. Companies know that a certain amount of training will be required for most new employees. Being upfront with a potential employer will generally yield the best results for you and your employer.

Good Luck,
