[closed] What are the first applicable concepts that managers should know?

Hello,
I am a business senior with an interest of business administration, and a major of management. I am inclined to gain as much knowledge as possible before I start a career of office management or data analysis management. As with my academic knowledge, I know that managers should be consistent, efficient, and be a team player so that when others need help the manager can train them to do his or her own job. When someone obtains a job as a manager in any industry, what are some of the first things that the manager should be aware of?

Hi Aimee


Understand each roles and responsability by doing individual face to face meetings with team members.
Listen to their challenges and pending requests
Make them list what works well , where are difficulties
take notes and follow the plan you will agree with them , prioritize actions
Share you expectations , visions and objectives for each of them , for the team
If possible do side by side session to understand their daily tasks and challenges


My high recommedation : be open minded and listen
