Hi!

Entry-level pay for a nurse is pretty good, at least in the 60K/year or higher depending on where you live. Another plus is that it's a 24/7 job so you can pick a shift that works for you. If you love to travel, travel nursing is great since you get to get 3 month assignments & most living expenses are paid for.

Nursing is not a glamorous job, it can get really dirty & gross really fast but knowing that you are actually making a difference or impact in someone's life is amazing. You can be there when a new life is born or hold the hand of someone who's about to die. And then there are the in betweens that will make you mad or pull at your heartstrings. It's not just a job where you use your brain, it's also one where you have to use your heart.

Good luck!
