I believe it rare to have people wanna to give their whole life with job. There are a lot of things around us including our family, friends, hobbies, exercise and rest, etc. Work life balance is important to all of us.
Going back to you interest on Computer, there are plenty of careers are computer related, e.g. Developers, Computer Engineering, System Administrator, Database Administrator, Application Support and System Support, etc. Every of these careers require specific domain knowledge. You can explore more which career you are really interested in and take the relevant subjects in the college.
On the other hand, you can use some tools, e..g. Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, etc. for your time management.
Finally, you can also consider to take some work holiday to visit other countries that could widen your horizon and have a break from you daily work.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Computer, like any other profession, are just means to the ends in your life. Determine first what is important to you, what you want to achieve and what makes you happy first, then computer could be something that you are good at to build towards your dream in a long run.
There would be many trades-off among job/life/interests and there could be tough decisions or uncertain situation you will face. You will find your way back if following your heart, even if that means sometime you will take a detour.

Hi Auriaha!

First off that's a great question and everyone previously had some great answers, so I'll try to add something different to consider. Most jobs require a computer so I guess first figure out what it is do you like doing on the computer. If what you're doing on the computer doesn't feel like a job and you get paid for it maybe that accomplishes what you're looking for too.

Many jobs will let you work capped amount of hours (usually 40) provided you set boundaries upfront and you're ok with being limited on career growth and earnings.

So technically all careers are open to you! Best of luck. I don't know how this interface works but if you have any more questions please reach out or repost!

We all are unique individuals with many talents and skills! Our professional life is important but our personal life dedicated to hobbies, traveling, time spend with family and friends or just resting is really important as well. It is all about balance. It doesn't matter what we do for a living - it could be stressful sometimes, but other times it could be exciting and interesting. Just allocate time to rest and keep that work life balance because even if you love what you do but you have no time for yourself, with time you will start to dislike your profession.

Make a list of the topics you love learning about. Add any prospective job responsibilities you may like. Reflect on what is important to you in terms of your work - is it service to others, product development, design, innovation? What would this thing be which motivates you to get up in the morning and execute your job/role well?

There are many roles tied with computer work. But there is a difference between a software engineer and an accountant, isn't it? List and outline things you enjoy doing and think about why you do enjoy them rather than doing something else. It would help you lean towards a profession in the long run. Explore, keep an open mind. Certain professions are modified or replaced by similar professions over time all depending on what the market and society needs. If you can learn something, learn it - you never know when you can apply what you've learned.

Software Engineering is a great path because it has a great work culture around it. Most of the modern tech world have very decent hours for their developers. I don't know any software engineers who work more than 60 hours a week and most of them work much closer to 40. As opposed to working in other similar earning fields like law, finance, medicine where hours can reach uncountable amounts. You can make a very decent wage and still have a lot of time to pursue other passions. I'm a full-time engineer and also a musical artist and I have plenty of time to spend on my songs and performances while still succeeding at work.
