While I have not yet worked on Broadway, I can at least tell you the working schedule for a Broadway show. There are typically between nine to ten performances a week for a Broadway actor. Sunday and Monday night are usually off, while Tuesday- Saturday the call time typically is set between two to three hours before curtain, (depending on costumes and makeup) with the show starting approximately at 8pm. There are usually three matinee performances on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with show time typically at 2pm.
These schedules vary by theater, production and performer.
The call time is much earlier for makeup if you are in The Lion King vs Hamilton, but you are almost always looking at a six day work week.
The key thing is that there are typically no pickup rehearsals once a show is running, as it is the actors job to stay sharp and deliver a stellar performance every time. It is an athletic test to hit the note, to make the landing, to give the performances of a lifetime, every time. I know many performers who maintain strict diets, as well as vigilant exercise and rehearsal routines. It takes tremendous dedication and discipline to work on Broadway.
