There really is no average. ICU nurse salaries are determined by the facility. Salaries are influenced by the area of the country where the facility is located as they are competing for available RNs with other area facilities. Decide where you want to live and then explore nurse salaries for that general geographical area, city, etc. Salaries may influence where you decide to live however remember, when salaries are comparably higher generally the area cost of living is higher too.
