Hello, what your question sounds like to me is wanting to discover what your day would look like as a university student with a major in international business, and a focus in international affairs. I assume that you would be taking courses in international business and international politics on top of your regular business courses. I also focused in international affairs as a major, and the core curriculum for the major was in economics, politics, and history. It's a very broad field that helps you think about how these topics are all interconnected. A focus in international affairs would I believe give you a much better understanding of how business works and how it is interconnected with other systems. I would encourage taking a course in international business as well, because that will give you real-life examples of how business works in the world. I hope this was helpful, and best of luck!

International business tends to focus on international trade, investment and currency speculations, as well as the reach of multinational corporations, the financial/monetary forms and institutions that measure and facilitate international transactions, etc. All of this is to be understood within the context of evolving social, political, legal and economic environments in home and host countries as the impact on international business operations and strategy, which is also the focus of International Affairs.

A student pursuing interests in both should take courses in both, along with language, economics, history and area/regional studies courses. Study abroad and/or an international internship is also highly recommended. Also, to get involved in student groups that promote international business and understanding/cooperation to network and meet others with similar interest. There are likely projects/causes/events to get involved in that can further flesh out this interest.
