Hi Nevaeh. To get a internship at a hospital as a volunteer, you have to contact the volunteer department at the hospital. Fill out the application at that department. Some hospitals may be doing it through human resources department.

Hi there,
You can look online, but it may just be easier to speak to someone at the hospital you're interested in. There must be a volunteer coordinator that could assist you based in your credentials.

You can do online searches, with terms like hospital internship for highschoolers, you can include your location as well to see if there are available options around your area. If there is you can check their website to know more about the program.

You can also do some online courses about nursing and health care to give you a background and advantage during your application.

I worked at a hospital for 6 years and we had lots of interns. I would suggest to go to the hospital you want to intern and ask to speak with the Registration Manager. They can get you setup or pointed in the right direction. If no one is available ask for their email and reach out that way.
