Hey Kayla! Pursuing a career as a real estate agent can be an incredibly rewarding experience. First off, having excellent communication skills is essential, as well as being knowledgeable about your local area. This enables you to confidently address any questions customers may have - from water availability to nearby amenities like hospitals and schools. Being well-prepared and informative will definitely build trust with potential clients, and may even lead to a successful transaction.

Remember to be transparent and mention both the pros and cons of any property - this honesty will prove to your clients that you have their best interests at heart. The benefits of being a real estate agent include earning incentives, networking with various people, and gaining knowledge in architecture and civil works.

However, it's important to be aware of the challenges; staying motivated to perform and meeting sales targets can sometimes be stressful. But don't worry - with determination, you'll thrive in this field! We recommend starting your career with a well-known company that offers a strong support system.

So go ahead, Kayla! Embrace this journey with enthusiasm, and we're confident you'll achieve great success. Best of luck!

Hi Kayla,

Being a real estate agent has numerous positives or components to the job/career that are the core reason that many individuals enter the profession. Whether it is the flexibility of the work (home sellers & buyers are typically available during the evenings and/or weekends), using your personal brand to develop professional relationships, as well as developing/gaining industry knowledge/expertise of commercial & personal property are all core factors for considering a real estate career.

Developing a keen awareness of the housing market to which you work, acceptable ethical considerations/actions, and connecting with loan officers/underwriters all speak to traits successful real estate agents possess. Additionally, if your real estate career is not a lifelong profession; consider the fact that frequently people purchase and invest in real estate as a passive means of income accompanying their main/core profession. Lastly; consider the different real estate companies/organizations that exist and view them as providing the supports for you to be successful. Base salary, training/licensing, and the brand/additional industry knowledge to grow your own professional brand.

I hope this helps and thanks again!

Clint
