Alright so first step to find a fellowship or internship is to reach out to the Institutions and various authorities according to your interest.
These organizations also promote fellowships and internship roles themselves like on their own website or on social media. LinkedIn and Handshake are such social media platforms.
So firstly be ready with your detailed profile on LinkedIn and create your Resume, CV and prepare a rough Cover letter.
Cold emailing to university's academics and people from some renewed organization may help but it takes a lot of efforts.
But, please don't give up that easily, try harder, push yourself and all the best.
Hope this helps.

Hi Gabriel, thank you for reaching out to us. This is a very good program combination of Biology and minor in Psychology. Try to associate with students majoring in Psychology in your college or Psychology Program. You can talk to their Program Lead that will guide you on what type of research you want to conduct. I am sure there are researches going in your program and Psychology. For each course in Psychology there are researches that the faculty assigned and you could joined in this endeavor. Psychology majors are given this type of activity to prepare them in their major research project. This manner students will be trained to conduct research minor or major subjects. It will also train them to be critical thinkers, read several articles and integrate their literatures and summarize what they read in their research papers.
