Sara’s Answer
This mental condition is genuine, and like other addictions, it can influence your business. If not managed properly, it may affect how you tackle obstacles and challenges at work, as your senses may not be fully alert. Although addictions can provide temporary relief from emotional stress, it's not a lasting solution. As a business person, you'll face numerous issues, so relying on drugs to escape them is unwise, as they won't help you maintain focus. Instead, seek healthier ways to cope and thrive in your professional life.

David’s Answer
Addiction can be found in many forms but I wouldn’t say it’s exactly like it’s portrayed in movies. Most businessmen or women have successful careers with being addicted to drugs or alcohol.

No, that is just a stereotype for people in Wall Street. There are many other areas of business that do not come out in the movies.

Karl’s Answer
I would agree with the other responses. There can be elements of business involving dinners with alcohol and drinking and like many other careers/jobs, there are stresses that people might feel can be solved or helped through drugs or alcohol, but that is not a good assumption. As a matter of fact, it is false. Sara, said it very well - seek healthier ways to cope and thrive. Personally, for me, that is exercise, meditation and time with family. But think about and find what is best for you.
