Much of whether you "succeed" or not is up to you, barring any insurmountable obstacles you might face. You also have to decide what success really means to you. If you mean success in school, there are certainly things you can do to heighten your chances, like working on writing, reading, studying, note taking, research, thinking and interpersonal skills, along with picking the career path that's right for you. But I don't have a crystal ball. Be "good" to yourself and others, and do justice to the work you put out.

Success and good character are in your hands! Only you can define what success means to you, as it's a matter of personal perspective. Goodness and badness aren't just simple black and white concepts, they involve various factors depending on how a person responds and thinks. Always remember to put in your best effort, and treat everyone you meet with kindness and fairness.
