This is a great question and there are no wrong answers if you are happy with what you choose to do. I might start by making two lists: 1) what career paths are interesting and for which you might have a passion; 2) what areas you do not have an interest in. Now you have narrowed your choices and maybe it will not be as overwhelming.
Next I might find out what it would take (education, geographic location) to excel in each career path from #1 and talk to people in that field. You will be able to find out early on (before you make an investment of time and money) if you like the field.

The field of computer programming was still in its infancy, yet we found ourselves drawn to it, intrigued by the challenge of solving puzzles and problems. The prospect of a well-paying job further appealed to us, and thus, we set our sights on this goal. Despite encountering several hurdles along the way, I remained steadfast and persevered to achieve it.
Looking back, I am filled with joy and satisfaction over the decision I made. For over two decades now, I have been a part of the same company, and my job has always been a source of motivation and passion for me. It's a testament to the fact that when you combine your passion with practicality, success and contentment follow.
