What are the skills that cosmetologist use when working? How is it working with clients? When is a good age to start my career?

Skills used in Cosmetology/Barber are math, science, anatomy, critical thinking, time management, self development, public relations, marketing, presentation public speaking, development and leadership, creative passion and maintaining a desire to always learn.
Clients are the best!
While working with clients you get to help them feel confident in every aspect of their lives! Daily, major life events, work, school, dates, everything.
You build confidence in your clients self-esteem. You help them see their beautiful/handsome. It's the best.
You will build your personal brand making others feel fantastic about how the look.
Start when your creative passion sets in.
I started about 13yrs old, braiding friends hair, styling for dances and dates, practiced on myself with color( which I highly recommend watching videos on YouTube, or another platform) , I cut my own hair as well as friends and family as my confidence and learning grew.

Remember foundation in all things gives creative freedoms.
