Hello Lilliana!
Firstly, a big round of applause for your initiative to dig deeper into the realm of Psychology and the adaptability it offers as a career choice!
The versatility of psychologists in their professional life largely hinges on the nature of their work. Those psychologists who are self-employed or run their own private practice often enjoy a greater degree of control over their work hours compared to their counterparts working in hospitals or clinics. However, it's worth noting that even in a private practice setting, psychologists might find themselves working during evenings or weekends to cater to the needs of their clients.
I trust this information will be of value to you!

Hello Illiana,
Private practice clinical psychologists enjoy the benefit of flexible work schedules. This means they can opt to work part-time, typically between 25 to 35 hours a week, or they can choose the conventional full-time schedule of 40 hours a week. They even have the option to work more than 40 hours a week if they wish.
Wishing you all the best.
