what courses do you need to have a welding career?
I know it has something to do for engineering..but I don't know specific ones #engineer #welding #weld

Generally speaking, the only thing you need for welding is experience and training. Whether you get that training via taking classes, apprenticeships, or just on the job. A college degree is not something you'll need for a welding career. However the opposite isn't true, if you want to study engineering ( especially Mechanical Engineering) having hands on experience with welding can be a great boon to have.

Most of the time a career in welding in learned by going to technical college, usually 2 years or less, or by learning on the job through an apprenticeship. I would check with the State of CA regarding apprenticeship programs in your area.
