How to become a mortician/embalmer?
I am a senior in high school, graduating spring of 2027. I hope to attend a nearby community college (only one in my state with this degree I can find). I plan to become an embalmer, and have taken Chemistry, Anatomy, Biology, and am currently taking Accounting (for the business side of things). I am unable to take Physcology, but I am taking sociology (for the grief side of things). Is there any other courses or research topics anyone would recommend? I do plan on someday owning, or at least managing a morgue. Also, I have read about interviews to get into the program. What sort of questions should I be prepared to answer? Many thanks!
How do I start studying mortuary science on my own?
To all professional morticians out there, do you have any tips as to how I can study and research mortuary sciences? I'm unsure where to begin.
