Roni Angel

Based in Maryland, Roni H. Angel is a Consulting Services Associate Director & Practice Lead of the global Verizon Cyber Risk Programs (CRP) service and its delivery teams. Roni is responsible for managing the global delivery Consultants, leading program research and development, program delivery management and serving as program SME and escalation point. Roni is an IT professional with over 20 years of combined industry experience in network engineering, information assurance, governance risk and compliance, cyber security, risk management, professional consulting and leadership.

Prior to Verizon, Roni served as a Senior Security Analyst for CyberTrust delivering an enterprise compliance certification program to a global customer base. Roni also worked at a Big 4 Consulting firm as part of their Technology Risk Federal Practice and served as a Military Health Systems (MHS) Information Assurance Officer (IAO), leading a team of federal contractors for a DoD client.

Roni has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, an Enterprise Network Professional degree and holds several industry leading professional designations, such as: CISSP, C|CISO, E|CIH, CRISC, HISP certifications and the US Department of Defense IAO designation, validating his deep technical industry experience and knowledge. As Associate Director, Roni manages a team of Consultants at varying levels across the US and in EMEA, to include; Sr. Consultants, Principal Consultants, Team Leads, Third-Party Contractors and Industry Subject Matter Experts (SME).
