How can I get a job in cybersecurity before I graduate and what steps should I begin taking?

All of the advice above is very good! If I were to start my journey over, the Google Cybersecurity certification is what I'd start out with. You can earn a professional and respected certification, plus they connect you with recruiters who know where you're at in your journey. If you can learn video games, you can learn to work the tools required to protect from hackers. You can even work for your favorite video game company or developer making top dollar from the comfort of your home. I'm 42 and have been in the IT game for half of my life, now. And, I love Mortal Kombat.
