What hands-on summer internship opportunities exist for students in the small animal science field in Kent County, DE?

I am a high school senior in Kent County, DE, with an Animal Science pathway. I will be attending DelVal this Fall and will be studying small Animal Science. I would love to have a learning opportunity in a small Veterinary clinic.

Hi Nyla,

I think finding an internship might be hard but you may be able to find a part time job at a local vet clinic.

Use Indeed to search for part time jobs at a vet office, shelter, or even a local zoo.

You can be brave and go into some local vet clinics and ask if they would be open to letting you do a job shadow, internship or volunteering.

Getting experience is super helpful and I would be open to any opportunity you can get!
