What made you choose to go back to graduate school?
I applied and was accepted to a grad school program in Interior Architecture in the fall. I was just curious what made you make the financial leap to go back to grad school?

After 14 years of working and starting a family, I chose to return to school for my Master's degree. I wanted to switch careers and try something new. Earning my Master's degree was a big help in getting back into the workforce in my new field.

I went back for my MBA. The reason being for career growth. Although I have a technical degree, a masters degree would make me more marketable in this job market. I always say if it's between you and someone else with exact experience, personality, etc, the person with the extra degree is gonna get chosen.

I hesitated to go back from a masters degree when I finished my bachelors because I didn’t wanna do any more school. However, being in the corporate world, and seeing how competitive it was, I realize that an MBA would help differentiate me from the competitive landscape. That, in conjunction with my work experience, helped me land the job that I’m currently in and I’m considering additional certifications and education to try to elevate myself for future positions. I would recommend you consider what your path in life and what your career aspirations would like to be, and make those decisions based upon your Ability to commit to that endeavor.
