You're doing a great job understanding the material! Now, let's tackle those test challenges together. Try shifting from just reading to active learning. Teach what you've learned to someone else, use flashcards, or tackle practice problems to really nail down those concepts. You can also practice under test-like conditions by timing yourself and studying in a quiet space, just like during an exam.

Break your study time into smaller, manageable parts with the Pomodoro method—study for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. This keeps your mind fresh and focused. Test yourself regularly and revisit topics over time to boost your memory.

If stress is an issue, try deep breathing or visualization to calm your nerves. Don't hesitate to ask your professors for feedback to identify areas for improvement. Develop a test strategy: pace yourself and tackle the easier questions first.

Remember, reviewing a little each week keeps the material fresh in your mind. By using these tips, you'll improve your confidence and do even better on your exams. Keep going—you’ve got this!

Brian’s Answer

Hey Daniel!

I wanted to share my own experiences, as sometimes advice needs to fit your personal lifestyle.

First, routines are key. Just like having lunch at noon or hitting the gym on Thursdays, setting a regular time for studying can really help. It might be tough at first, but soon it will feel natural.

Second, go to all your classes and ask questions. Even if you don’t learn best by listening, discussing with classmates can be super helpful. Many times, someone explained things to me in a way that made everything click.

Third, don’t overwork yourself. Your brain is like a muscle, and pushing it too hard doesn’t help. If you’re exhausted, you’re not really learning. Take breaks and get enough sleep. Stress can be your worst enemy, so remember to breathe. Many have done this before, and many will do it after you.

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. This is a question on time management. Firstly, you need to find a time management tool to help, eg Google Calendar, MS Outlook, phone calendar, etc
Below are my suggestions:
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time every day on your assignment and projects. Review the material covered in the class on the day. If you have any questions, ask the tutor on next school day. Don't wait for the deadline or before assessment
3. Make sure you have enough time to sleep and do some exercise
4. Assign more time for revision before assessment
5. Form study group with your classmates
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
