What resources do you use to find scholarships that don't require you to make 100+ different accounts/ sign up for their promotional ads ?
#Spring25
How do you guys find any scholarship pages, sites, etc., that don't require you to individually create accounts for each brand, title, company, sponsoring the scholarship??? Or is that just normal?

Angie, based on my son’s own research he said that finding scholarships without the hassle of creating multiple accounts and dealing with promotional ads is absolutely possible, and it requires a strategic approach to identify trustworthy resources. He indicated that one of the most efficient ways to find scholarships is by using scholarship search engines and websites that aggregate opportunities, allowing you to search through a wide variety of scholarships without needing to create dozens of individual accounts.
My son, who is currently preparing to apply to colleges, conducted extensive research into scholarship opportunities and found several platforms that offer a streamlined process for finding relevant scholarships. He appreciated how these websites allowed him to access multiple scholarships from a single platform, saving time and effort. Not only did he benefit from this research personally, but he also helped his friends navigate the scholarship process, pointing them to resources that would prevent them from having to sign up for multiple, potentially unnecessary accounts.
He said that the following sites worked for him.
* Scholarships.com, which offers a comprehensive database of scholarships and grants. From his point of view, this site allows you to filter scholarships by criteria like your area of study, location, and eligibility, and it does not require you to create multiple accounts.
* Fastweb, which is one of the largest scholarship search engines. It allows you to create a single profile to personalize your scholarship search, and they regularly update their listings with new opportunities.
* Cappex is another solid choice, providing a straightforward scholarship search process without the need for endless sign-ups.
* Niche, which offers a comprehensive scholarship search engine that is easy to navigate and doesn’t require you to create multiple accounts. You can find both national and local scholarships that are tailored to your specific needs and background.
He indicated that these websites all have the advantage of not requiring multiple sign-ups for different companies or organizations. You can filter for scholarships that align with your academic goals, extracurricular activities, and personal characteristics, and they typically do not bombard you with promotional ads or unrelated offers.
He wanted me to tell you that you should not forget that many colleges and universities also provide centralized scholarship portals on their official websites where you can apply for both institutional and external scholarships. For example, one school he is applying to, University of Texas, offers their students access to a variety of scholarships without the need to use third-party sites. He said that it is also helpful to check with local community organizations, businesses, or civic groups, as they often offer scholarships directly through their websites, which can be more straightforward and less cluttered.
