Hi Isabella,
I’m not a nursing student myself, but I really admire what you’re about to take on — accelerated nursing programs are no joke, and it’s awesome that you’re already asking for advice before starting. From what I’ve learned from others, one of the most important things is staying organized and managing your time wisely. The pace is super fast, so setting a routine early and breaking things into manageable chunks can make a big difference.

Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help — whether it’s study groups, professors, or even just talking things through with friends or family. Mental health is just as important as academics, so give yourself grace and don’t forget to rest too. You’ve got this, and I’m wishing you all the best as you begin this next chapter!

Christine’s Answer

Study groups while I was in nursing school were a huge help! So take advantage and find some classmates. Remember to try and manage your time well and find some sort of system to keep yourself organized. As it sounds like you are going to have a full course load. Also be sure to take time for just simple self care. Nursing school is a challenging program but also so rewarding when you get to the other side of it. If you are having difficulties with a class be sure to reach out to your professor directly to have a conversation about it. Wishing you the very best as you pursue this path!
