Hi Cortney, there are tons of colleges with online programs for earning a degree, and more are popping up all the time! Some have been mentioned above, and state universities and community colleges also offer plenty of choices. For instance, SUNY has a fantastic network of colleges providing online courses. You might want to start by exploring options in your state, focusing on the majors you're interested in, but since you're taking online courses...really, you can look anywhere!

Good luck! I'm sure you'll find the perfect fit.

Hi Cortney!

There are many accredited online colleges offering a wide range of degree programs. Some of these include the University of Phoenix, University of Maryland, University of Florida, Capella University, Southern New Hampshire University, Drexel University, and Arizona State University. They have programs in business, computer science, and more. Remember to check if a school is accredited to ensure it provides a quality education. You can do this by visiting the school's website and verifying the accrediting agency's legitimacy.

I recommend the University of Phoenix. It's a well-known online university. I remember seeing football player Larry Fitzgerald in commercials talking about earning his business degree online while playing football. I have personal experience with this school, having completed several classes there. My friend also got her MBA from the University of Phoenix, and another friend earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.

Many schools started offering online programs during the pandemic, so the answer to your question is definitely YES! There are plenty of schools and programs available entirely online.

Good luck! You can do it!

This is a broad question as many schools offer on-line degrees. You should narrow down your interest and check various Colleges and Universities sites for their on-line programs. Drexel for example has a great on-line program which is the same as being on campus.

Hi Cortney!

I wanted to add to what others have mentioned. The State University of New York (SUNY) offers a great variety of online degrees, which I've personally found useful. SUNY Online is open to everyone, not just New York residents, and their website is really helpful: explore.suny.edu.

Since you're in Michigan, here are some more resources you might find helpful:

Michigan Association of State Universities (MASU)
Website: https://www.masu.org/member-universities
This site connects you to 15 member universities, which can help you explore their online degree options.

Also on the MASU site...
Website: https://www.masu.org/student-success/financial-aid/free-tuition-programs
Here you can find information about free tuition programs and the main eligibility requirements at these universities.

I hope this is useful to you!

Lewis’s Answer

Hi Courtney,
Check out your local community college. They often have online or hybrid classes that can fit into your schedule. Plus, their credits usually transfer to big universities and are budget-friendly.

Arizona State University offers a fully online education program with many options for majors, minors, and certificates. You might also consider working at Starbucks, as they have a partnership with ASU and will cover the full cost of your education. It's a good idea to find out more about this opportunity.
