Any suggestions for me ?
I’m in 7th grade and my dream is to going to the NBA and I’ve always wanted to since I was a little kid but if I don’t go to the nba I don’t know what I’m am going to do because I don’t know any other jobs I can get or go to if I don’t any suggestions

1. Do more practise on the basketball technique
2. Join the school basketball team in school and in the neighbourhood
3. Explore more basketball related careers, e.g. Basketball coach, NBA Commentor, Sports Journalist, NBA Data Analyst, Team Physicians, etc.
You can find out more different careers online
4. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest other than being NBA players
5. In addition to basket training, work hard to achieve the qualification of the career you have interest

That is fantastic I hope you do make it into the NBA one day. However, I know that it can be very difficult and only a select few make it to the show. Here is the great news, you're only in 7th grade which means you still have time. I would say to find something else you are really interested in and see if you can make a career out of that. For instance, it seems like you enjoy sports, maybe you could look into becoming a Sports Commentator or a Physical Therapist that may work for one of the NBA team.

It's fantastic that you're aiming for the NBA! Having big dreams is wonderful, especially when you're young. It's also a good idea to explore other interests besides basketball. This way, you'll have a backup plan if the NBA doesn't work out, and you can choose a college major that excites you. Attending career fairs can help you discover what you might enjoy doing. You have lots of time to think about this, but by the end of 10th grade, it would be helpful to have an idea of what you want to study in college. Keep dreaming big and exploring your options!

Julius, I believe you'll be dunking by 8th grade! It's great to see your love for basketball and your dream of joining the NBA. Keep practicing, and remember to be a supportive teammate and mentor to others. When I was young, I also dreamed of being a baseball player, but I found joy in playing with my school teams. Some of those teammates are still my closest friends. Keep chasing your basketball dreams, and enjoy the friendships and fun along the way. If the NBA doesn't happen, you could always inspire and coach young players, teaching them the right way to enjoy the game.
