How can vr help players improve their dribbling?
My name is Iker and I love to play soccer. The thing is I can’t get better at dribbling and I wonder if virtual reality can help soccer players like me to get better at skills we’re not very good at.

Hello, Iker !
Virtual Realty would not help you handle a soccer ball better because you wouldn't be handling a soccer ball. You'd have the illusion of the ball, but not what you'd be needing during a game.
For dribbling during soccer. your foot will need to get used to controlling the ball without any help. You also need to see what's happening and needed on the real field in order to benefit your team. You need to develop balance and spatial decisions and virtual reality couldn't really be a help with that. My advice is to ask your/a coach for some work out routines to strengthen legs and feet and practice a lot with a team on a field and even by yourself on a field so that you can get used to the movements you'd need to do yourself.
Virtual Reality for soccer is being marketed for the purposes of tactical analysis, injury recovery, and fan engagement, but that can give you just an idea. You'd have to train with an actual foot, ball, field and team. Experience a virtual reality program and think about how useful it is or isn't for you. Improvement doesn't come over night, so give yourself some time.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !

I agree with Michelle. I play soccer since I was a child (basically 35+ years). Soccer, like any other sport, is about practicing and practicing and practicing. If you want to develop specific skills, on dribbling for example, you need to try them. VR won't help.
Your coach can help. If you don't have a coach, try to practice with a friend. Test your dribbling skills with them. If you prefer to practice alone, try to use obstacles like cones, poles, etc.
Something that can give you some good ideas on how to train by yourself or with friends is the video game FIFA. I play it sometimes and the game offers practice for you to improve the players skills. The video game can give you ideas on what to apply on your daily practice to improve your dribbling and soccer skills overall.
