What kind of degree does golf management need?

i would like to get a 2 year degree.

You would need to pursue something that would be regarded as a golf-compatible concentration, something like like business, hospitality, or marketing, while gaining extensive internship experience, and job experience, at a golf related site, or with a gold oriented organization.

I know there are many community and junior colleges that offer Associates in Business degrees, and degrees in Hospitality and Marketing Management.

I would check your local community and junior colleges, to see what they offer, as far as these potential degrees and opportunities.

This could be a good place to start.

To work in golf management, you usually need a degree in Golf Management, Business Administration, Sports Management, or Hospitality Administration, which often means earning a Bachelor's degree. Hi Sam,

There is no formal requirement beyond high-school for a position in golf management. Realistically though you'll have trouble finding employment and certainly advancing in the field.

A bachelors in golf management is usually preferred. The PGA has a university program collaborating with several universities.

You could also aim for a more general associates degree in sports management but my feeling is that the PGA program would give you a much better shot at getting hired.
