What is the best way to prepare for the MCAT throughout undergrad school without overwhelming yourself all at once?

I am a current High School Senior that is planning to major in Physiology on a Pre-Med track and want to be fully prepared! If you have good tips to prepare for the MCAT such as best programs, study methods, or textbooks, that would be great!

Hi Ann,
Below are three sites that offer MCAT prep/tutoring in your area. Your school guidance counselor or college advisor is also a great resource. Good luck and all the best!

James’s Answer

Your question suggests the answer: Do not try to prepare for the MCAT, or any other big test, over a short time. Dedicate some time every week to study on one or two components of the test. Pay attention in all of your classes, as the modern MCAT is looking to gauge a person's overall knowledge and readiness for becoming a physician (which means a lot of science, but that mixed with being a well-rounded individual).
Having said that, many find that taking available MCAT preparatory courses is worth the money.
