Objectively, it is considered a great medical school! It's wonderful that you're considering colleges for your future endeavors - note that schools may change between now and when you're ready to apply and attend. Focus on your classes (and becoming your best and happiest self) and once you're closer to applying dig into research on several colleges, as you won't want to only have one in your pocket. Good luck!

Hi Maddie! That's a fantastic question, and it's so cool that you're thinking about the future in sixth grade. Yes, Texas A&M has a good medical school. The Texas A&M College of Medicine is well-known in Texas for its strong clinical training and focus on community care. Many of its graduates become successful doctors in various fields, and the school emphasizes teamwork and service.

Right now, the best thing you can do is continue what you're doing. Taking advanced classes and doing well in subjects like pre-algebra will give you a strong base for future science and math courses. There's no need to worry about medical school yet. Just keep building good study habits, stay curious, and explore science whenever you can.

Becoming a doctor usually involves doing well in high school, going to college for a science-related major, then attending medical school and completing training. You're already on a great path by being motivated and asking questions early. If you keep working hard and enjoying learning, you'll have lots of great options in the future.
