Thank you for your question. I am glad to know you have interest in entertainment business.
Below are my suggestions :
1. There are many roles in entertainment business, e.g. Director, Script writer, Stage Manager, Costume Designer, Photographers, Makeup and hair artist, etc. You can find out more related careers online.
2. You can find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in performing arts colleges
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

You can be a writer, an art director, an editor, color grader, graphic designer, VFX artist, cinematographer, a director (either technical director meaning you collaborate with all departments work closely with cinematographers and post production or/and a performance director, getting the actors more into their characters) and producer.
What matters most though in the creative industry is your practical portfolio.
I would suggest starting off with editing, color grading and/or graphic design (if you already sketch) as it is easy to practice these mediums through getting stock footage and experimenting with industry apps like Adobe and other apps used in the film industry to edit, color grade and graphic design (please do through research to ensure accuracy, go on LinkedIn and follow editors in the film industry and pay attention to their skills on their profiles)
You may also later decide that you don’t want to be in the film industry and prefer more stability with a 9-5 to fund your desires to be in the industry which with the practical experience and portfolio you’ll build up with editing/grading and/or graphic design you can seamlessly pivot into the corporate world and back into the entertainment industry if you like.
What matters the most in the entertainment industry is what you can do. There often isn’t much time for training and guidance it’s a very fast paced industry so practice now while you can to be one step ahead. Hope this helps!
