Sometimes the people use different methods but I have two, that I can share with you:

1. When you finish to study, you have to write the things that you remember for the topics
2. The most important, you have to separate your topics and when you finish the first one, then you need to go with someone and explain the topic, its like if you want to teach this topic with a friend.

First, remember to always take notes. Pay attention throughout the day, make friends to have fun with, and never give up.

HI Chloe,
I smiled when I looked at your question and I am sure most of the students face through some form of struggle. Here are some tips which I used
- Your biggest friend is TIME, if you can manage it best you are all sorted.
- Allocate time for every task/ activity related to your studies every day. If submission deadline is in 7 days, assume it to be 6 days and consider how many hours you would need to complete the same and accordingly work on it every day. In case if you need more time, you have that one day buffer. No last day pressure
- Beware of the deadlines for projects / assignments.
- Make sure you make time for your ME time.
- There are many apps available, you can used tools like Trello, MS Note, Notion and many more. But best thing is to keep a diary handy

Hope this helps

Congratulations on starting college!

Think about what has worked for you before and start there. If you like keeping things digital, check out some great apps for note-taking, calendars, and organization. If you prefer seeing your schedule and assignments on paper, use a planner or hang a calendar in your dorm room.

You'll probably discover that some things work better for you than others. What helped in high school might not fit your new college life. For example, I used to do light homework with the TV on, but in college, I couldn't focus that way anymore.

Remember to take care of yourself—not just socially, but also mentally and physically. Building good habits, like a regular bedtime or workout routine, can help you stay healthy and tackle whatever college throws your way.

Good luck, have fun, and take it one day at a time!

All people have different study methods and needs, so first make sure you plan a good balance, including meal times and time in the sun.
Then figure out your learning method, what works best for you, keeping in mind we all have different needs. People with ADHD or other neurodivergent needs may benefit from breaking tasks into smaller chunks, planning prizes or measure their own progress.
So the real advice is to know what works best for you and start moving, even a small learning time is better than nothing.
I do use apps like https://palfocus.vercel.app/pals to help me.
