I am a 10th grader In High School and I hear people say they get exhausted trying to balance their learning with personal life but I want to find a way.

Hi Alexa! Start by thinking about what you want to achieve in high school and try to balance those goals. Setting goals early gives you a clear path to follow. For example, if you aim to get an A in Calculus, you might need to study more before a big test instead of going out with friends. Balancing means sometimes focusing more on school and less on other activities, but remember, you can’t do everything at once, and that's okay. Keep going, and you'll do great!

Hi Alexa.
Thank you for the question! A balance between schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and personal life can be achieved by consciously setting priorities and taking a realistic approach to one’s own limitations. It’s best to focus on schoolwork first, and only then choose extracurricular activities that truly enrich your learning or improve your well-being, rather than taking on too many commitments.
Planning plays a big role. Using calendars or weekly schedules to set aside time for studying, activities, and rest helps me stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.
It’s equally important to make time for yourself. Rest and free time aren’t optional; they help you stay focused and motivated in the long run. When things feel overwhelming, reassess your commitments and allow yourself to adjust your plans, rather than trying to do everything perfectly :)
Good luck!
