Does anyone have any tips on how to get real estate internships?
How can I get an internship or job at a real estate brokerage as a college student without a license? I really want to get an internship before I have my license so I can hopefully just go from an intern to having job there.

Hi Addison,
While I'm not in real estate, I did some research that might help! I noticed that you were in Alabama and is looks like the Alabama Center for Real Estate offers a Collegiate Career Assistance Program where they list internships for college students (link:https://www.acreccap.com/students/job-board). I think this would be a great place to start! It would also be a good idea to connect with them in general to see what other services, resources, and opportunities they can offer you.
You mentioned wanting an internship so that you can secure connections for a future job. While its a good idea, there are also other ways you can do this as well! I would suggest:
1. Contacting local real estate agents (and firms) and asking to volunteer, shadow, or even just do an informational interview. The goal is to expand your network and get yourself on the map so when opportunities do come up, they think of you!
2. Build a relationship with your professors, especially if they work in real estate or have connections, so they can connect you with people in the field.
