There is nothing wrong with getting a degree that does not lend itself to a specific career in the end. Employers are more interested in the fact you set a goal and stuck with it to get a credential than what that credential is. Later in life it will be easy to sell yourself to employers based on what you have done for work, and just explain to them "hey the health field was not for me!". Gaining skills and awareness of subject matter should be your focus now no matter what those skills are.
I had a coworker that started as a nurse, then got into the data center, then left that for coding. Currently he works for much more money that he anticipated to make because he was willing to abandon nursing and spin his skills from that to something different. Most of the people that are students on this site are not going to work in the field they got their degree in, but it is always going to shine on a resume.
