What are the things you wish you’d known about landing a business internship?
Additionally, how did you prepare for getting one/interviewing to be able to be the best version of yourself when applying?

Start looking for internships early and consistently—many companies, especially larger ones, begin recruiting in the fall for roles that start the following summer, and positions can fill up by December.
To prepare, connect with an academic advisor or career counselor on campus to refine your resume and get guidance. Take time to research companies beforehand to make sure they align with your interests, and come into conversations ready with thoughtful questions. Remember, you’re evaluating them just as much as they’re evaluating you.
Be ready to speak about your soft skills, school projects, and what you’ve learned so far. Employers understand you may not have extensive experience—they’re looking for qualities like teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
Overall, start early and practice often.

Hi There! I think it would be a good idea to stay in touch with your school's job search websites to see what internships are available to students. Most companies will post job listings here. I think the best advice I could give is to be yourself. The companies that you will interview with for internships want to get to know you as a person and see if you make a great fit. As far as during your internship experience, I would advise that most professionals do not expect you to come in with an abundance of knowledge about the field. This is a time for you to learn and grow and see if this field is of interest to you.
