Namrata’s Answer
I love Physics when i am able to apply it and see the principles in real life. Example, how a plane keeps in the air . How so much engineering around us is based on basic laws of physics.
What bores me down is the long equations and the math behind it.

As a mechanical engineering major, I enjoyed the practical applications of physics, but not so much the abstract topics! Overall, physics shows up so much in daily life that udnerstanding it brings so much fulfilment than not.. hang in there, there's also great career prospects on the other side of completing your degree!

I loved learning hands on in the labs, it helped me get through solving tough problems, trial and error have proven to be a helpful skill beyond the classroom.

Civil engineering major here - my physics courses were incredibly challenging, although very satisfying once you have learned how to solve those challenging problems (or had your professor show you the variable).
I bet lots of engineers feel the same way, and which is why we all choose the industry. Engineering solutions doesn't always have nice and neat solutions, so balancing creativity with foundational science.
I really admired the physics majors I studied with in college.
