Advise to start

Hi! I recently graduated from high school and want to learn software engineering, AI, and machine learning because I love building things and turning ideas into digital products.

My goal is to build a tech company in the future, Insha’Allah, while pursuing a promising career.

Do you think this is the right path, and what would you advise me as a beginner?

Hi Amir, love that you're thinking about this and it's such an exciting/interesting space to be in. AI has really democratized the building process so my best advice is to create on your own, as much as possible, and get a feel for the process of taking something 0 to 1. It's challenging but it's unlike anything else, and will both teach you the skills to handle ambiguous problems as well as provide relevant experience. Also, don't neglect the foundations. While it's super exciting to be able to churn out ideas quickly through AI tools, it's also important to understand why you are building what you are as well as the basics of why technical decisions are made.
