How do I chose the right career with so many options?
I want to either go into theatre arts/acting culinary arts, and or Marine biology? I enjoy all of these things and I'm still in highschool so I feel like I have time I just don't know.

How do you make a decision? Test it out!
Instead of just thinking about it, use your high school years for small experiments. These help you explore different fields without big risks:
1. Theater: Join a theater group, drama club, or weekend workshop. If you're still excited after hours of practice, it might be the right fit for you.
2. Culinary Arts: Go beyond simple meals. Try cooking a complex, multi-course dinner for family or friends. Experience spending hours by a hot stove under time pressure.
3. Marine Biology: Start with biology and chemistry classes. Marine biology involves lots of statistics and studying tiny organisms, not just swimming with dolphins. Watch lectures or read papers to see if the language interests you.
The "Plan B" Strategy (Mixing Interests)
Choosing one path doesn't mean abandoning others. You can blend them in interesting ways:
• STEM career + artistic passion: Study marine biology while acting in a theater group or writing a food blog in your free time.
• Art + Science: In marine biology, making science popular is key. Those with a talent for drama can become presenters at aquariums, make documentaries, or teach.
