I would not suggest that you think about it in terms of switching it up and keeping yourself entertained. Think about it in terms of getting good at something that provides value to others. Get really good at something that will improve the lives of others, and I think that will make you feel good.

Dental hygiene is such a good career with decent pay and a flexible schedule. You do not have to work full time. Most offices hire 2-3 days/week. That allows you to work in 1-3 dental offices a week. I would work 4 days max doing dental hygiene. You can do volunteer work or teach at a dental school. I did that to break up the monotony. After 3 years, I ended up going to dental school!
