what steps are needed to be taken in order to becoming a flight attendant?

I am a sophomore interested in maybe becoming a flight attendant. Does that require me to go to school, take certain test or exams? #testing #flight-attendant #steps #exams

Gary’s Answer

You will need a High School diploma or GED. Depending on where you apply to work, you may need to have at least two years of either a Bachelor's or Associate's degree program. Typically you must be at least 21 years old in order to qualify (this is because you must serve alcohol on board). You will have to have at least two years of customer-facing work experience, to show that you are personable and have a service orientation. You will have to have excellent verbal communications skills. Speaking multiple languages is a major bonus. You also have to have all of your documentation in good order to be able to fly internationally repeatedly.

Hey Deja,

The first step is to get hired by an airline. Then they have a training program and finally a certificate of demonstrated proficiency.

Thanks,
Blake
