What is the entry/median/experienced pay for electrical technicians?

Updated New York, New York

I am interested in becoming an electrical technician, but I am unsure what the pay is like at the start, and how it grows over time as I get more experience. Thank you. #electrical-technician #electrician #electrical-systems #electrical-engineering

Hello Cyrus,

From the following link, https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Electrical_Technician/Hourly_Rate", I quote:

"Pay by Experience for an Electrical Technician has a positive trend. An entry-level Electrical Technician with less than 5 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $41,000 based on 336 salaries provided by anonymous users. Average total compensation includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay. An Electrical Technician with mid-career experience which includes employees with 5 to 10 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $46,000 based on 208 salaries. An experienced Electrical Technician which includes employees with 10 to 20 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $53,000 based on 191 salaries. An Electrical Technician with late-career experience which includes employees with greater than 20 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $57,000 based on 112 salaries."

I encourage you to visit the link for more detailed information.
