I graduated in quantity surveying but do not want to work in that field. What else do you recommend?

I suggest you to give it a try. In the end of the day you dedicated a big portion of your life to get this degree and it is too much of a waste if you do nothing with it. Find a job with your degree a pursue another one that satisfy you.

I hope you the best of luck.

Hi Omar,

I suggest you think about what you are the most interested in, in general and within your degree. Then try to see if the knowledge you have can be useful in that field. Transferrable skills should not be overlooked as I believe they are the key to changing fields.

For instance, if you have studied cost management or planning, these skills are accounting related. You might not be an expert in accounting in general, but if you are interested in this, you could look into complementary studies in accounting. You might find online courses that could give you basic knowledge in accounting, which could then enable you to find a job or internship in that field.
