The most important thing is to make nursing school your priority. In school, you will be able to the foundation for the rest of your career. Treat it seriously and realize that we’re playing an important role in your practice.

Get a group of friends and study with them every chance you get. Going into nursing school I usually studied on my own, until I got to my nursing prereqs and realized there are topics so complex that talking it through with someone is incredibly helpful.

Videos are EVERYTHING... Kahn Academy, Crash Course, StudyRN... the list goes one. These are all amazing resources and help the long complex words from the page and put them into simplistic motion.

Take me time. If you burn out, you won't make it, and you definitely won't retain the information. Me time can be as simple as "vegging out" watching Netflix, spending time with family and friends and blasting your music... but don't ever let school take place of your me time!
